In terms of placing into a top MBA Program a couple of years down the road, just wondering which job sets me up better. Which job would provide better exit ops for switching into IB or Consulting?

MBA placement - GE
MBA placement - GE FMP
Lateraling into IB (junior level) - Corp banking (assuming it's a solid brand corporate bank)
Can't speak to consulting.
GE for sure, especially if
GE for sure, especially if the bank is PNC (as per your tags for the thread)
Impossible is nothing
GE FMP. Solid reputation in
GE FMP. Solid reputation in any/all areas of finance.
I'm not in-industry, but
I'm not in-industry, but common sense dictates that you're going to make more connections as a corporate banker and potentially have the opportunity to network with consultants in such a position.
Also, MBA is going to be the easiest way to move to either IB or consulting. It will be a VERY rough road otherwise. GE FMP will get you into a better business school. Better business school = higher chance of a better consulting gig. I'd go with GE's FMP, assuming you're willing to kill it and make the transition post-MBA
