GPA Questoin

I'm applying for SA positions in IBD and S&T at BB's. My cumulative GPA is 3.76. However, Ive gotten 4.0s the last two semesters. I'd like to note this fact on my resume. How should I go about doing it? Should I insert a line after cumulative GPA with the label "GPA (Spring09-Fall09): 4.0"

Or should I do something else?

On another note, do BB's differentiate between GPA's beyond 3.7? For example, if 2 people with same major and from same caliber school both apply for same position at a BB, would a 3.9 be at an advantage over 3.7? My viewpoint is that after a certain threshold(generally a 3.7?), GPA does not matter anymore and the recruiters look for other factors in resume (experience, EC's, etc.). Is this a correct assessment?
