Help! I don't know what to do

I am about six months into an analyst program and have come to realize that investment banking will probably not be my career. I am not bright or pushy enough to really succeed. PE seems out as well, for similar reasons. Corp dev seems out of reach in most places until you get an MBA. Wealth Mngt was not stimulating enough for me unless you really are involved in the investment decisions, which is hard to do. Can you help me come up with some new ideas ?

Consulting? And when you leave, hit me up, I'll take your spot as if you never left.

And what about some marketing/investor relations type job?

In all seriousness what was your initial thought going in? Did you do a stint as a SA? I’m just curious as to what your expectations were and what reality is. Hope you find something you enjoy more.

FalconIt's very bold of you to say that you're not bright enough to pursue IBD, what makes you say that? Just out of curiosity
Curious as well. I've never heard that one before.

thanks for all the ideas, I thought ib would provide the best experience for someone who is 22, the most exposure to critical business ideas, but there is so much bs involved and there are times where it seems that I come to conclusions later than others i work with about ways to pitch new ideas, I dont like having to pitch for something that clearly wont work or happen and pretend like its a good idea

investor relations seems pretty good, i am not exactly sure what they look for there
