Help, which is better for FT Ibd recruiting?

Hi, I want to get into ibd, which offer would look better/ be more applicable? Commercial bank credit risk vs legal & compliance. I'm at a non target top 50 university with a 3.5+, and work experience in BB ops summer analyst, PWM BB school year internship, and a short program at a Big 4 firm. Working an unpaid ibank internship isn'tan option. Any advice welcome

Maybe should have included this- the legal/compliance is at the BB hq building, so I'd have better in firm networking, while the commercial credit risk is more regional, still for a big bank, but less in firm networking. Does this change your choice? I am thinking credit risk even given this

Go with the better name - so if the credit position is for example at JP Morgan - chose that over the legal role at HSBC... Which ever bank has a better league table in IBD (what part of IBD do you want?) ... You get what I mean? Goldman Sachs holds more weight even it's in legal than doing risk at a smaller firm. BUT if they're both the same in weight, go with risk. You'll learn more on the job type skills that will transfer over to IBD.
