M&A Valuation

Am a senior now and have a first round analyst interview with an alum from my school coming up. Was told that it may involve questions regarding M&A valuation/concepts. Anyone have an idea of the specific types of questions that may be asked/concepts covered?

I haven't taken corporate finance (though have taken accounting and financial econ) and my internship which just ended covered some corporate finance concepts, though I'm not sure where to focus my efforts. Thanks for any insights.

consolidation methods : financial investments, joint ventures, equity associates, minority interests, full consolidation accretive, dilutive m&a etc etc

My advice: make up 10 good stories (5 for female interviewers, 5 for male) and tell them during the interview so the interviewers like you and give you the offer, if you manage the interview well you won't be asked any techniqual question..

Who would you choose? The likeable person or the genius nerd?

Thanks. Just stories about my classes/work experience? Like, "I was working with my associate on project X and noticed something and streamlined this and blah blah...?"
