bump

I know that BB MDs make anywhere from 2-10 depending on experience and deal flow I hear that megafund PE MD's are making 10 mm+

but I have no idea how it is for MM IB or PE, probably a bit less for both

you guys should not be disclosing pay, just makes main street hate wall street even more

lookingforanswersdoes anybody know about how much less those numbers are for successful MM banks/PE firms?

at mm/boutique firms there is going to be a much wider range of pay. this applies to all levels, some will make more than their peers at BB firms, some will make less. it is impossible to really give you more information than that since MD pay is so dependent on the particular MDs success that year.

it is generally safe to assume that at strong mm/boutique firms (the ones which have ex-BB MDs) are allowing their senior bankers to make around the same, if not more $ than they did at their prior firm.
