Hello all,
I have a spot at a top MFE (financial engineering) program and a trading offer from a well-regarded HF. I would like some thoughts on which would be the better option to take.
My stats:
- Target undergrad school
- Good grades in a quantitative major
- One year experience as a desk quant
I am interested in pursuing a career as a quant/trader/quant trader.
Thanks!

If the trading job is what

Second what GoodBread said. If you want that sort of job take it now. They obviously have enough confidence that you're smart enough as it is now, just learn more while you're on the job.

If it's the job you want then
If it's the job you want then go for it! Why study more and go to class more when you can have what you want now? If all else fails, which hopefully it won't, go on back.
