MFE vs. Trading Job

Hello all,

I have a spot at a top MFE (financial engineering) program and a trading offer from a well-regarded HF. I would like some thoughts on which would be the better option to take.

My stats:

  • Target undergrad school
  • Good grades in a quantitative major
  • One year experience as a desk quant

I am interested in pursuing a career as a quant/trader/quant trader.

Thanks!

Take the experience of the job now. You can always go back to school later.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
