Panel Discussion on Activist Investing
Here's a great panel discussion on activist investing, courtesy of the Milken Institute. Panel comprised of Clifton Robbins (Blue Harbour), Barry Rosenstein* (JANA Partners), Chris Teets (Red Mountain), Jeff Ubben** (ValueAct), and is moderated by Chris Ailman (CalSTRS). Enjoy:

*Am I the only one who finds Rosenstein somewhat repulsive? Not sure if it's his attempt at gelling his hair back or the audacious pinstripe suit.
**Always liked Ubben. Like him even more after watching him chirp Rosenstein for the better part of one hour.
"Repulsive" is quite a strong word to use when only describing another man's appearance (and not his personality as well). He wants to perpetuate that 80s look. So what? Good find though. Glad to see Ubben isn't scared of slamming his peers (in this case Corvex for its dealings with ADT).
Oh I'm talking about his personality as well. I can't stand his faux bad-assery.
Great conference this year. Still have to watch a couple videos myself but what I saw so far was pretty good.
Agreed - a lot of good stuff this year. One of my favourites is the talk with Mickey Drexler.
Good post. +1.
