Yeah, after all the privacy bullshit I gutted my facebook down to the bare minimum. No need to load it up with shit, I just like a place to keep in contact with my friends.

I hate political rants on FB. Those people get blocked or deleted real fast also.

 

I dislike it when people make annoying status updates full stop. I don't care about the occasional one if it's important enough (news or in their life/holiday etc.), but trivial posts and people updating all the time about everything is annoying.

 

I'd much rather hear about the news than "omg had quiznos for lunch and now headed 2 mall". I guess it really depends on the quality of the discussion, though.

I agree with charmander. After blocking the most obnoxious ones, the remaining generally have varying interest, so their occasional news links are interesting even if there is no discussion attached.

What annoys me is people posting link which lament the demise of seals, whales and dogs and cry a river on how unhuman these bastards are. Just because a kitty is all fluffy doesn't mean it's more news-worthy than actual PEOPLE starving because they were unlucky enough to be born in a poor country, you coddled teenage twat. /rant off
