It’s quite clear that the 53 year old Apple CEO is ailing – let’s face it, the guy looks like the walking dead. But I’m not buying his whole tight-lipped “hormone problem” announcement the other day.
Look at the progression of his deteriorating health in this picture. He starts out looking like he should maybe hit the treadmill a little, then slowly sheds the weight until he ends up looking like he’s wasting away to nothing.
Jobs battled cancer back in 2004 but claimed to have beaten the disease, and is often referred to as a “cancer survivor”. Am I the only one that thinks the poor bastard might be on the losing end of that battle again?
Either way, the guy should just be honest (assuming he hasn’t been thus far). Since announcing that he would be stepping down from his role as CEO due to his health issues, Apple stock has dipped by 7%.
I call tapeworm.
um, who gives a shit? this is national enquirer-level speculation, sitting around and talking about whether a guy looks like he has cancer from his photos. get a life.
I think that Jobs might not last much longer. They're considering removing his pancreas, which is a very bad sign.
He's dying. But we all are, I suppose.

And since this is not a board dedicated to Apple shareholders, employees, and competitors... I second the who gives a shit remark.
The guy is dying, no doubt about it. It's sad to see but it is life. Get over it. Someone equally will talented take the reins.
I'm relatively optimistic as far as Apple's continued success goes. While Apple without Jobs was awful back in the day, the brand is now incredibly strong and many employees have probably been impregnated with the culture and direction set by Jobs. I'm sure Jobs isn't the only smart guy there and we'll likely see great products like the ipod and iphone for years to come.

Originally Jobs admitted that his body was not properly processing protein and as a result he lost a ton of weight. The doctors thought they figured out how to deal with it but a few days ago Jobs announced that his situation was more "complex" then doctors originally thought.
