Hi guys, I'm a sophomore applying for summer internships. My gpa's low enough that I'm not listing it on my resume and I don't have any work experience, so I know I'm at a huge disadvantage from the start. I'm probably going to be aiming for a PWM internship this summer but this is the first time I've made a resume/searched for a job so any help is greatly appreciated!

Since uMich is a major target
Since uMich is a major target for investment banks, I would suggest at least trying to land an internship at a boutique in Chicago or NYC. As a sophomore, experience isn't necessarily as important as networking and taking advantage of your OCR. Just try to get that GPA up too man! Good luck.

Unless it's sub-3, you
Unless it's sub-3, you probably should list it. Not quite sure if your SATs are good enough to list (2100 is the lower bound cutoff). If you have 1400 or better with M + V, then list that instead.
Consider summer classes to raise your GPA – that is the most important thing you can do.

Your resume sucks. Target
Your resume sucks. Target your audience. You are marketing a product--you! Similar to how Apple will incite feelings of lust for their products, you need to say only enough to make someone wonder about you. Do you see Apple going on about their products being made in China for the low? Forget that. Coursework don't mean shit if you fail at marketing the product. That requires confidence. State an objective and make yourself the best possible product to satisfy that objective. Don't think Walmart, everything for everyone here; think Neiman Marcus, I fit perfectly. Advertise, advertise, advertise to your target. Make them wonder what they are missing when they wake up in the morning. Once you get a foot in the door, then you can let loose with all those awesome, beneficial skills. Spy on the CEO. See if he is sleeping around. This is war. The last part was a little over the top, but you get the message.
your resume lacks experience
your resume lacks experience and you just dont show through your resume that you want to do finance. More like you want to be a lawyer or do something in public policy.
you put sat scores but not your gpa. Everything is wrong right now about your resume if you wish to do banking.
