Swiss Private Banks - Top 20
Hey guys,
So, the BBs tend to be in the top 20 when it comes to PB, but where do the elite Swiss Banks place (e.g. Julius Baer)?

Pictet is world no.10 in terms of AuM, and Julius Baer is not too far off... Probably pay the best salaries out there for 9 to 5 jobs (especially given the current exchange rate)

Hi guys,
So these banks are extremely tough to break into but I would appreciate any further information on them as they tend to be very secretive on recruitment. E.g. is it best to apply straight out of undergrad? How should one go about getting in?

Easy if you have relationships and can show that you can bring money in. Otherwise you'll do the most boring job in the world, serving coffee to clients and learn nothing on markets/finance because no one in these banks know anything about finance
Could be true, but at least you will be able to help yourself to left overs of those delectible left over swiss chocolates...
I disagree. They may look after old money but they have fresh blood.
Fresh blood does not mean they are smart. If you are talking about PWM at GS it's a different story but if it's actual Swiss PB, then don't bother studying finance or going to a top school, you won't need it...
