Get the highest GPA from the best school you can. This is 90% of the battle. Internships are also very important, but they too will be based on your university and GPA. Shoot for better than "mid-tier" if you can. And, if you go to a mid-tier college, be in the top 5-10% of class.

I think youre mis-understanding MBA....you do it 4-5 years after undergrad, not immediately after.

Hey OpsDude1,

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate your advice. So internships are offered based upon what your GPA is? Wasn't aware of that. So would you say that I should just be part of the clubs pertaining to my interest but not try to obtain leadership positions and just focus on getting a high GPA?

No, I understand that you get an MBA after 4-5 years, during that time, ill be trying to get my CFA, studying for my GMAT and just networking basically.

Just curious, what do you do? Are you currently in the financial services industry? I would love to hear your story.

Thanks
