Trading resume, destroy it! (will give out bananas for comments)

Thanks ahead of time for any constructive criticism you can offer. My goal is to break into trading. I will be doing a ms in finance at a respectable program that should see some decent recruiting.

I will give out silver bananas and/or a demonoid invitation code if you want one for constructive criticism. PM me for those.

Thanks again

This is a nitpick, but make sure you're consistent with the listing of your GPA. That is, should be:

GPA: 3.45/4.00; Major: 3.7X/4.00.

I'd also recommend getting rid of the "Selected Experience:" section under the Winter Analyst position, as well as the "Visiting Portfolio Companies" and "Created Transaction Database". They're just taking up space and redundant with the bullet-points below. Make the bullet-points below just regular bullet points. So just make bullet points underneath that position:

-Worked directly.... -Interacted with.... -Attended board meetings... -Created a transaction database....

Same exercise for stockbroker trainee. Just make that two bullet-points.

You need to add some space at the bottom between "Trading activities" and "Skills & Interests". Look at the space you put between work experience and leadership experience and copy that.

Hope this helps.

Bullets and sub-bullets are an eyesore, which contributes to the resume's unpleasing aesthetics. Try more discrete bullets. Also, make the sentences more concise and keep them to a maximum of a line.

yep...i guess I could have done a better job concealing that.

For the winter analyst position you have two different tenses; 'visiting' and 'created'. Looking through the rest of your points you seem to have gone for the present tense for the titles, so maybe created should be changed. Only a very minor point though.
