UBS here in Singapore seems pretty relaxed. Most of the people I know at UBS enjoy their time there. They don't pay as well as some (or most) of the other BBs, but they seem to have a good office culture.
I've heard they do well in asia. Do you have to mad cold call from day one? What's the compensation like? Your comment is quite different from BrickSquadMonopoly's which is more in line with my general impression of bb pwm.
PWM is a horrible job. I did an internship at BBPWM this summer, basically you are self employed and have to chase around 80 yr olds all day to get them to transfer their 10,000 dollar retirement portfolios over. If you are bad at hard-selling people on the phone, you'll be out of the game pretty quick, because if you don't sell then you don't eat. If you want a somewhat accurate representation of PWM, watch the movie boiler room. You are on the phone all day dialing numbers to random people to sell them mutual funds. Its a very stressful job, you don't make much money if you are not good at selling. On the bright side,

Met a girl summer associate in PWM at one of UBS' NY offices the other day, she was a solid 9/10
