UK/US Resume for Summer 2010. cheers.
Hi. First time here so hi there everyone.
I'm studying in the US but will be on an exchange program in the UK. I have the passport to work in UK so I will apply through my exchange school ocr (hope that works). Please help with the resume. But as harsh and mean as you wish I can take it. I am looking at BB IBD and consulting. do you think I stand a chance for interview? That is what I aim for because I know I will land an offer if I am given 2-3 interviews.
Also, things that I don't know if I should put on:
- what should I drop, it is obviously a bit overcrowded
- SAT score (1480/1600)?
- interest (football/soccer, rugby, traveling (big time), art and art history)?
- language (English, mandarin, cantonese, japanese)?
should I?
HUGE THANKS.
No such thing as OCR in the UK. All applications come in through the bank websites.
You've got a lot of interesting volunteering related experiences, which is pretty standard for UWC students I guess. Resume needs a lot of work, but you have enough experiences to fill up a well formated one page CV.
hey thanks a bunch! perhaps the colours not the brightest idea.

is this better? my question remains though: should i put in my language skills and interest? i guess my volunteer experience would suggest an outgoing & manageable personality, thus making interests somewhat unnecessary (by all means, correct me if i'm wrong) but language? Knowing 4 (ok 3.5) languages has to help right....
again. thanks a lot!
