What is better for MBA or MIF

Hey everybody,

I am currently facing a decision for next year:

Either I can work in a start-up which is now expanding in a new country (and I will have a leading position within the foreign division) or I can work in a finance related field (academic). Since I am still studying, working FT at a BB is yet not an option.

Which do you think is better for getting (later) into a MBA or MIF?

My background compromises:
Three internships, IBD and S&T at an IB (two at a mid size IB and one at a BB)
Finance related field of study
Goal: Work at BB (S&T) and later MBA or MIF

I could imagine obtaining a lot of experience by working in the start-up (not finance related business but I could work within finance department). Especially regarding Entrepreneurship and Leadership which are good points in getting into a MBA imo.

Thank you all! I am thankful for every advice here
