What should my CV cover ?
I am currently in my second year of my 3 year courses atuniversity.
I would like to apply for Ibanks in the coming summer for internship ?
Until now , I still got no idea what does it mean by a successful CV ( that can draw firms attention ) ...Can anyone help?
What should my CV cover , and how to make it more appealing that can enhance my chance for interviews?
thanks a lot
a CV is your resume, so just list all your achievements up to date, with a spin on banking.
Few things I can mention: 1-Any specific courses that are relevant to IB(Accounting etc)
2-if your major GPA is higher than cumalative list that on the resume
Disclaimer: The post above has been made by someone who is not currently employed in IBD, and has not had an interview yet...
This is what my undergrad b-school career management told us to follow:
3 Headings: - Education - Work Experience - Leadership Activities (or call it whatever you want like 'Selected Activities & Interests, or 'Extracurricular Activities')
Keep it one page, don't bother with 'objectives' because it's already pretty evident your objective is an analyst position for IB
You can start with verbs for each bulleted point in Work experience and other activities, for example:
Est voluptatem maiores delectus minus perferendis. Aperiam quos aut voluptatem aut velit explicabo aut. Cupiditate quisquam delectus et eaque. Minus tempora aliquid ipsum neque rerum doloremque voluptatem. Quos dolorem omnis error qui quis cum minus. Non qui inventore rerum at deleniti aut aut.
