White Tee under dress shirts?
I've always thought it looked tacky, but it would save a lot of effort getting shirts to and from dry cleaner. What do y'all do?

If not wearing a tie, crew neck white undershirts are a no-go. Stick with light grey undershirts since white ones will show under light colored shirts.
Wouldn't recommend a white t-shirt, but a gray tank top undershirt would be great. Just find an undershirt specifically designed to worn under shirts.
No show V neck, moisture wicking ... quality undershirts last and don't get the yellow underarm from zinc in sweat. I like under armour's,
There really is no other option unless you have an obnoxious amount of chest hair
Two words, Tommy John.
Tommy John doesn't have gray, and they mentioned above that is the best in terms of not being able to see it through the shirt. Do you go with the tan Tommy John?
Under Armour has their logo on the chest, and I don't want that to be seen.
Also, under tank or under tee?
V-neck is the way to go
Gonna second this.
I take a bit of a different approach and I match the shade(NOT the color) of my undershirt to my dress shirt. I wear a white T under a white dress shirt, a light grey under a lightly colored one, and a dark grey under strongly colored shirts.
I've always thought it looks tacky, especially for someone in finance versus say blue collar management. I know that statement oozes of pretentiousness, couldn't figure out another way to phrase it. If you can see the shirt it it's even worse, but either way it's usually visible via contours. The only scenario where even I'd recommend it is if you have a really bad sweat problem that'll show on your dress shirt. Otherwise, if you're doing it just to avoid the cleaners, just invest in more dress shirts to rotate.
v neck without tie. crew neck with tie. ive never noticed a white undershirt under a non-white shirt so i dont know why you need to match the shade of the undershirt with your dress shirt. maybe im missing something but white seems to work for everything for me,
