Any opinion on the ethics and legality of work-study only jobs?
If a respectable job is work-study only, then the work-study recipients have an undue advantage in terms of how their resume will look after they get that job. We're already giving the less wealthy population financial aid. Do you agree that work-study only jobs give an undue advantage to the work-study population over the non-work study population?

I think work study jobs are designed to work as a form of financial aid. Instead of just giving you money, they are giving you the means to obtain it. Makes sense in my opinion.
ethics? If someone needs it, they are already at a disadvantage, yes?
That having been said, I know a guy that started in work study and made it to BB FO.....total animal, tore many new ones on his way in.
There are people who wana study but lack funds. They have amazing brains but no sources to use them right..I feel such work study scenario is a win-win!
uh... most work study jobs i know have been ones serving coffee or shuffling papers on a campus.
