Investment Banks' Compensation - Great News for Goldman Sachs!

Afternoon Monkeys,

Saw this on Reuters a little while ago and thought all the prospective monkeys (or transitioning monkeys) might be interested in learning how the big banks compare with each other in terms of pay:

(see if you can find the odd one out)

crap, I suck at doing images

Current monkeys, is this accurate? Or is Reuters jerking us all around? Prospective monkeys, does this change anything for you? Or is it all for the love of banking?

Thats pretty interesting, it makes sense why UBS is cutting jobs and pay at such a quick rate.

Although, for the record, MS doesn't necessarily pay well, the pay to revenue ratio is inflated due to the rapid decline in revenue, and since wages didn't adjust fast enough, the ratio is higher.

Fundamentally Undervalued:
anyone notice the **data for securities division only

Only applies to MS, rest of the data is pretty good though

regardless, i can only imagine how thoroughly boned MS is given how Gorman is so fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuu about salaries/bonuses

Cheers.
