We are pleased to announce that Josh Rosenbaum, MD at UBS and author of Investment Banking: Valuation, Leveraged Buyouts, and Mergers and Acquisitions, will be speaking again at our conference, joining keynote speaker Jared Dillian.

Our early bird tickets sold out but we still have another limited number of discounted tickets available. We are already WAY ahead of where we were last year in terms of ticket sales, so don't risk missing out on this great deal or missing out entirely on the event.
We are super excited about this year, so hope you can join the community in New York on June 29th!

This year we are VERY excited to have Jared Dillian, author of Street Freak, former head ETF trader at Lehman Brothers and author of the investor newsletter, The Daily Dirtnap, as WSO Conference keynote speaker.
After reading Street Freak, I immediately knew that Jared was a perfect voice that WSO needed to hear. Besides being one of the best books I have read in years, Street Freak offers an incredible look into the world of Wall Street in 2008 and years prior, as well as an honest look at his own mental health issues.
Beyond that, Jared also has some amazing stories and is sure to give some great macro perspective on what to expect in the coming years on Wall Street and the overall economy. His investor newsletter is filled with sharp trading ideas and insightful commentary.
Can't wait to meet the honeyz
When does the early bird promotion ends?
Yooooooo just bought mine! I am pumped. Hope I see some faces from last year!
So, it looks like I have approximately 10 hours to decide if it's worth a 28-hour journey each way...
While that sounds fun, I'm not sure if it's fun enough to nullify the effects of spending days trapped in a cramped flying container. I'll be sure to take you up on your offer if I do make it there!
Maybe a conference in Singapore is in the cards...?
Just a general message to any monkeys making the last-minute decision:
If you are on the fence about going to this, you should. I can guarantee that when June rolls around, you will be regretful if you did not buy the ticket now, either because you want to go and can't, or you are going and paying $200... It's worth the $200, so its nice to pay $80. ;-)
I think it's also worth noting that I was blown away by the atmosphere at the first conference. I did not meet a single person who was not friendly, intelligent, and interesting. No attitudes, no elitism. Nothing but good stuff folks, I highly recommend going. I seriously had a damn spring in my step after leaving the venue, and vowed to return in a better position next year. Don't brush off the impact this can have on you... I know for me personally it was a huge confidence booster to meet these kids, who I had built up in my mind to essentially be Ultra-Discriminating Wall Street Genius Kids, and feel completely accepted. I hope that can happen for someone else. It can be a life-changing event if you want it to be.
In summary: WSO.... Backed so hard.
What he said, in so many ways.
Wow I looked cool in the video at 0:16
Yes, the email worked! I just noticed that the discount is really great and jumped in. Figured I would just pay to get it on my calendar.
Andy! Look forward to seeing you!
Just 92 days to go!
Considering going but unsure about the cost to get to NY for those dates (whether I can afford it as a poor college student) how worthwhile would it be for someone who is graduating this May, and trying to break into IB to make the trip? Seems like a pretty awesome event!
I hope to make it over for the event so you can ask me any questions in person. Now to persuade work I need a trip to NY.
You won't be sorry!
Alright, I bite. I am going to buy my ticket as soon as I have a spare $99.00, so tomorrow (being broke sucks...). my friend offered me a free place to stay, so why not? :)
Perhaps Josh is brown-nosing to get a full-time position (or at least summer internship!) at WSO in light of the business climate at UBS...
xoxo
You should all go and figure out who CompBanker is in real life. Or maybe you could be talking to him without even knowing it. Its like telling Clark Kent about how awesome Superman is.
O_O
So looks like those "sales" girls will be back after all!
Clearly the only reason they invited him back...
I wonder how many cold e-mail Rosenbaum got after last year's conference.
I wonder how many got a response...
I'd like to ask him why he and his colleagues post so much on Dealbreaker. You'd think they'd be busy... oh wait.
I wish I could attend!
