It won't be a waste of time if: 1) You choose a school where there are professionals with networks. If you go to a school where 90% of student just finished their undergrad, you won't build a network that is immediately beneficial. 2) You do internships while you're in the program. Even if it means delaying graduation, if you want a better chance at graduating on Friday and working on Monday, you need to be doing internships!

I'll do what I can to help ya'll. But, the game's out there, and it's play or get played.

I'm taking my gmat test in 2 weeks, but according to my practice exams I should score between 650-700. I have citizenship in France and Japan. It's probably important to know that I am looking at MSF programs in France right now and most do not require any work experience. To answer the post above: I am not considering an MBA program at the moment.

AsianMonky:
I would suggest going to a MBA program - you can go to any Top 25~30 programs and get a good corporate finance gig paying close to 100K.

What top 20-30 program is likely to take someone with 1 year w/e? He's best off applying to tier 1 and 2 MSFs, assuming a 650 GMAT, that list would look like BC, Villanova, SMU, Ohio State, Illinois, GWU. If he scores a 700 add in Texas, maybe WUSTL, Vandy or Claremont McKenna.
