I was secretly hoping that a kid said his role model was Steve or Raj. Also, I'm surprised at all the value investing kids and the lack of those who are interested in quant/HFT.
My god. It would be interesting to track their 'progress' through down-markets though.
These kids probably don't even know what a balance sheet is, yet they purport to be "value investing". I think it's great that they're interested in finance and starting to learn about the biz from an early age, but it's a bit of a stretch to say they're taking over the "finance world".
Also, "finance" is a noun not an adjective. Jus sayin'
i think its great that theyre gaining exposure to markets at an early age, so i cant hold any baseless presumptions against them.
