BAML FMAP Opportunity
Got an offer recently still waiting for specifics but does anyone know the starting compensation and progression for this Program located In NYC. Also is this considered Middle office? Any other specific information would be helpful.
Thanks
FT or SA? It's an MO role.
SA role
think internal monitoring and financial reporting. any MAP program within BAC is going to be internally facing and dealing with some sort of bank process.
do a search for bank of america fmap and go to the career site and you'll see
I was told I would be working within the Investment Banking business and not on a corporate level. Would that change my day-2-day tasks vs the corporate FMAP employees?
bump
Do people reply without any knowledge? FMAP is a back office gig - similar to JPM/MS Finance division.Working within the investment banking business just means your back office support for the IBer's
It's basically corporate finance, except for a bank
What do people do after the 2 year analyst program? I assume It would be to early to attempt to enter any credible MBA program. Also what is the pay? Ive seen a thread on here from people getting anywhere from 60k In Charlotte to 69K In Nyc? Is the salary similar to IB analyst programs with obviously smaller bonus?
For the SA program, they pay about $25/hour in NYC - the hours varies from group to group. Most people stay within the FMAP program after two years, its quite difficult to move around, especially in Bank of America. Full-time, surprisingly pays about 72k a year with signing bonus (i didn't believe it at first, but 3 people i know at my school told me that figure). This is in NYC btw.

It's $72k, including signing bonus. $25 an hour is very standard for a MO/BO internship role.
I am a graduate- Depending on your role it can definitely be middle office, particuarly in the asset management space, as CFO there is highly integrated with the management team

Probably more or less the same as all of the other F500 finance programs

Anybody know about BOA FMAP program? (Originally Posted: 06/05/2013)
Can any shed some light on the program? Exit ops after the 2 years? Compensation in NYC?
It's a CFO rotational program. Pipeline for talented, internal corporate finance mobility.
Do they start at 70 in nyc? Because I know they start at 60 for North Carolina
They pay 69k base and 3k signing bonus in NYC. Not sure about the end of year bonus. It is tough to network to move internally, since you'll be based at the World Financial Center, instead of OBP
Damn only 3k signing? Anybody have an idea of year end bonus? 69k is nice for middle office though.
