LSE or NYU???

Hi guys, I've received offers from both LSE and NYU. I got an offer from LSE MSc in Finance and NYU-poly MSc in Financial Engineering.
What do you think of that choice?
What do you think about the reputation of those programmes in their respective countries?

The LSE MSc in Finance is their top degree and probably the best MSc in Europe to break into IBD. I don't know anything about the program at NYU but it seems more quantitative/markets focused. If this is the case and you would prefer to be in the markets side I would take it over the LSE program. It also depends where you want to work post master. If you want to land your job in the USA, this is a no brainer.

I'm grateful that I have two middle fingers, I only wish I had more.

I would reiterate what cruel3a said, your choice of school should depend on what and where you want to work. If you are aiming at landing a job in Europe, presumably in the UK, you should definitely go with LSE. If you want to work in the US, go with NYU. Also, remember that studying in Europe and America differs quite a lot (I've done exchange studies in the US) and you might be up for a surprise if you pick a master at LSE with a bachelor from the U.S. Recruiting differs as well and as far as I know, people who wishes to work on a different continent often transfer within their company since it's often easier than succesfully applying to a job in a different country.

Thank you guys. Actually, I chose NYU (@Danimals510 NYU-poly is now part of NYU). Now I'm doing my internship in a trading firm. The recruitment is very good. We use the same sources with NYU, since we are part of NYU (one of the many different schools). All the big names (GS, MS, JP, BR, Barc, Citi, etc) had events and OCR. The problem is that they are looking mostly for undergrads.

Anyway! Thank you very much (After 1 year hahaha)

Are you an EU citizen? If not, you would have an almost 0% chance of getting a job in the UK.

true, super tough for non UK/EU over here

LSE has a better brand name, but it all goes down to where you want to work after college. The LSE Economics program has the best FT prospects for UK undergraduates but if I were in your position, I'd stay in NYU. NYC>London.
