How much difference does 0.1 in GPA make when trying to get an interview?
3.5 seems borderline whereas 3.6 seems a little more comfortable. Am I wrong? I will be graduating with a 3.54 and I am really bummed.
Since I'll be trying to break in with a non-traditional background(Engineering) and through networking I am a little worried that something like this could screw me up...(Since I would have graduated I cant really push up my GPA even a slight bit)

You're at the point where networking will be your golden goose. Any small bump in GPA from where you're at right now isn't that beneficial.
I saw at some other forum that 3.0 to 3.5 is considered iffy for IB?
considering a little bump would have put me into 3.6 that just annoys me-there just seems to be a psychological barrier at 3.5.
I wanted to know if I am thinking too much into this?

3.5 is not that bad mang
There is really not a big difference a 3.5 and a 3.6. A 3.54 is nothing to scoff at in engineering. You just need to work to network or join as a post-MBA associate.
3.5 is generally the cutoff for IB. You should be fine.
