So bad on so many levels. The implication was that we should just sit down in front of the TV and let Walter Cronkite tell us what to think. The diversity of views and opinions is far favorable to the opinions of one supposedly non-partisan newscaster.

Then there was the subtext about the role of government. The progressive slant was definitely present. When the female lead was ranting, she likened government action to "something greater", as opposed to individualism.
