drug tests at BBs
i like to indulge in some mary j's once in a while.. and i'm about to start my fulltime this june. i just want to find out when the drug tests are (one month before start?), whether there are random drug tests after i start, and how long does it take to get all traces out of my body if i'm only a social smoker?

I smoked heavy for about 6 weeks, failed a taste after being clean for 40 days.
Be forewarned. Take a do it yourself test, and maybe even use a detoxifier to be sure. Why are you even trying to get high right now, focus on your future guy.

actually...its really easy to pass the test. i know people who have smoked heavy for a week and a half before the test and passed. i would recommend cranberry pills as opposed to juice (highly concentrated), and yes, LOTS of water (have a bottle with you 24/7), and exercise. detoxifiers work really well too, just follow the directions and you're set. buy something like this: http://www.detoxforless.com/pass-a-drug-test/detox-drink.html

They show 3-6 months. Not trying to scare anyone but some companies are using them now so make sure your bank isn't one of them...

Hair tests can show much longer than 3-6 months. If your hair grows slowly or you keep it long, it can show certain persistent chemicals (heavy metals, certain hallucinogens) for years. Marijuana is also quite persistent, I believe, but not on the same level. If I used it, I would give it at least a year before being comfortable with a hair test... and then only if I kept it short enough so that all my hair had grown during the clean period. A year's hair growth is around six inches for most people.

to be honest, i dont know of ANY company doing hair tests.
i would rather be safe and stay away from that stuff in any case, you never know.
The only employer I know of
The only employer I know of that regularly gives hair tests is the CIA. The FBI uses them in special circumstances. Never heard of a bank giving them.

It is very possible that no BB's give them. But, I lost an energy trading internship (sunoco) a few years back because of hair testing. Just telling people to be careful thats all, as obviously you don't want to get caught with your pants down. Not everyone on this message board will be going to an I bank anyway.
