Got into LSE MSc Accounting and Finance, Apply for summer internships?

So I recently found out that I got accepted into LSE.
When I start class in Sep, I will have accumulated a little over 2 yrs of work experience at a top BB in Asia, within a finance rotational program.

I've decided to go to LSE because of its excellent reputation within the financial industry and placement into top firms. My goal is to obtain a full time analyst role in either IB or Equity Research post graduation.

My question is, would it better to apply to summer internships before I start school? Or is it better to focus on work until Aug and just start my full time applications once school starts?

Well done, this is a great course! make sure to apply for internships. it seems like u have a back up if u dont get it. the important thing to remember here is that usually 50% of full time candidates come from internship programmes. so get one of these and your chances of landing a good position upon graduation seriously improve.

Good luck

I'm assuming you start your MSc in September? If so, you're quite late to apply for the summer internships as most of them have shut their applications. You should have applied a little earlier. Have you tried contacting your old BB to maybe lateral into a FO position after your MSc? You could possibly even intern there?
