Gridley has 2 seniors and 1 senior banker from what I know. They are very selective for analysts, but they do hire interns from Dartmouth. They do not give the interns full time offers.

Spacejam was actually being a troll with his post I hope you knew.

i mean its just an office of 2 people who do the deals. and then 1 senior banker who does the grunt work. well it seems like that senior banker has left the firm since he's not on the website.

i has not heard of them, but ask them if they like griddle cakes.

spacejam? are u jordan steinberg? seriously you talk about all these exit ops but they only have 1 full time junior working for 2 MDs.

all in all, small deals are great for this very very small boutique.

lol is this a joke? since when is ~2 $50mm deals a year top? the only reasonably sized (>250mm) deals were some tech deals at the height of the dotcom bubble.

because I was curious, i looked on linkedin and found only three ex-analysts. One lateraled to be an analyst at baml, one exited to an associate role at barclays, and one went to mba at insead and then ended up at GSAM.

dang spacejam, sounds like a baller place to be at

Linda Gridley is a joke. I guess take it if you've got nothing else.. but I really mean nothing else.

"There are three ways to make a living in this business: be first, be smarter, or cheat."

A recruiter tried to set me up with an interview there for a first year associate role. I only got as far as "Salary below street and bonus dependent upon how many deals you bring in." Could be good if you are super-entrepreneurial or think you are ready to play MD, but as someone new to the industry I wasn't willing to bet on my own rainmaking yet. Not sure if it is same for an analyst, but I wouldn't be shy about asking about comp upfront.
