Haha, dude, this is a BS! Net salary in Moscow is much bigger. You will have to pay only 13%. Tax rates in Russia are very competitive.
I am wondering about the same. In fact I am Russian with fluent Russian, but getting American education (never been to Moscow)

look into troika dialog and renaissance capital - great banks, western culture/business model, lots of top-notch foreign bankers (mostly hired from london) to be honest not too sure on your chances of landing in moscow straight out of us undergrad, but I'm sure it can be done. Both of them have small offices in New York, although its mostly sales. That could be to your advantage as they will be significantly more willing to help if you reach out early on (beginning of college). Basically, contact them freshman year set up some meetings and display continued interest thoughout. I'm sure they could hook you up with moscow ibd, and you will be an interesting candidate coming from US straight out of ugrad so im sure they will consider. good luck although be prepared to be running up against very competitive kids, russian unis are still amazing out churning out extreme brainpower!

thats perfectly true I wouldnt bother trying if its only for your career. but then again knowing something easier like french or spanish would be of significantly lesser competitive advantage. id rather work in london too even though I know one of those languages :)
