Just out of curiosity.
What would be the upside to doing this?
Personal amusement because I'd really like to connect faces to some of the douchiest posts I've ever read.
...but more importantly, networking.
Networking always has upsides...
I'd do it if I happened to be in NYC at the time.
I think there have some people that did this over the summer in Houston or rather there was someone that kept giving people advice and then wanted everyone to go out for drinks.
If I were in New York, I'd go.
I'd do it if it happened in NY...but only if there was a diverse group of people in terms of experience and industry..I've been out of college almost 3 years now so I don't want to hang out with a bunch of banking interns or first years..no offense
