Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Career Path

Does anyone has experience working for MSSB beyond the branch level? In what capacity (title)? What is your view on upwards mobility. Does anyone has experience with Consulting Group, Capital Markets?

Yes, I know a few people. Upwards movement is significant on a financial level and MSSB has a better work life balance. Idk why more people don't work for Smith Barney.

Whats the matter? Scared of my little red fuzzy anus? Don't be shy,let me show you the way, give me your hand and I will take you to paradise

There is no difference anymore. SB is now MSSB. I hear the work life balance is the main thing that prevents people from going into other fields. Also, the pay can be very rewarding. I know of some FA who make $300k/yr. I don't know why more people don't want to be FAs.
