Yes, I know a few people. Upwards movement is significant on a financial level and MSSB has a better work life balance. Idk why more people don't work for Smith Barney.
What exactly is the difference between MSSB and SB?
There is no difference anymore. SB is now MSSB. I hear the work life balance is the main thing that prevents people from going into other fields. Also, the pay can be very rewarding. I know of some FA who make $300k/yr. I don't know why more people don't want to be FAs.
what about the pay structure for associates in MSSB wealth management? i'm talking about the 16-week training program.
Becoming an FA is tough but profitable if you stick with it. ALSO AS A CURRENT UG INTERN I can tel you SB is gone now in the name. They axed it. It's just Morgan stanley wealth management. Good opportunities for capital markets also
