Congratulations on your offer. Maybe its just the cheapness in me talking, but you got in, I think you will be successful. Sounds like a waste of money to me.
It's really not that fantastic. It's nothing you can't figure out with some common sense (and stuff you'll hear at training).
I'd echo that. Whatever firm you are at will have training and written guides to get any well-motivated BA, etc. on the path to MD.

Anybody care to share HSMC (How to succeed in management consulting) by Victor Cheng. I think the $300 tag is too high without getting a sample of whether the content is worth it or not.
