Student trying to break into IBD

Hello intertube readers. I am currently a sophomore at a semi-target in the midwest trying to break into investment banking. I am constantly trying to improve my resume and would appreciate any feedback.

I have been advised by my career counsler to leave my major GPA off (a 3.90/4.00) because it is so close to my overall GPA (3.85/4.00), but I have heard conflicting stories that if you leave your major GPA off employers will assume it is poor.

Any advice (about my major gpa/overall gpa or anything else that needs critiquing) would be greatly appreciated.

Leave off the major GPA - your career counselor is right - 3.85 is enough to clear any GPA hurdle.

Make your verbs punchier - try to find a way to eliminate the tense inconsistency in your present job (bullet 2 is past tense and 1 and 3 are present) - show more results in your bullet points -> how did your stock pitches do, what does your payroll system do, etc.
