small bank, generalists, offices in NY and ATL--i went through the interview process with them recently, but am curious also as to what other people may think of them.
Anyone else have an opinion on them? or even heard of them for that matter?

Know a guy who interned there and seemed to have a solid experience, but don't know much more than that.

What kind of info are you looking for?
I've heard from a friend that there interviews are pretty technical, but not hard, is this true?
Also, why do people generally choose TM Capital over some of the other boutiques? I'm not looking to lateral to a BB off of this, but do you know if they generally promote from within or give interns fulltime offers? From their website, looks like their deal flow is pretty good for a boutique, what is their street rep like?
Great shop, solid deal flow and lots of senior exposure to analysts/summer interns. You are not seen as another "excel/ppt" monkey like the BBs and they do want to develop you.
I may be mistaken for another shop, but if not, they also allow analysts to travel (again, not 100% on this)
Also have office in Boston. Interviews are technical but nowhere hard. If you go over WSO and BIWS interview guides you will be fine for first/second rounds. After that it's just fit. Difficult to get offers though.
