Undergrad Summer Internship Salaries

Can anyone give me an idea as to what to expect in terms of salaries for an undergraduate summer internship for a strategy consulting firm like McKinsey, Bain, or BCG?

If you're getting $20/hr and working 60 hours per week, that's $1,200, or $12k for summer

My offer wasn't quoted hourly, paid on a per week basis ~ $1200 (MBB)

This is how they are going to avoid having to treat you like a human being.

You do realize that the summer is a loss-leader for these firms - summer interns cost firms a lot to recruit and maintain. They're going to give you real work to make sure you're not a dud, but they're also going to treat you incredibly well because they want to make sure you come back for full time. It's never in the firm's interests not to treat you like a human being during the summer.

That said, I can't help but wonder what firm pays hourly wage for summer interns. Sounds like you have a job at McDonalds and Company.

Hello, This thread is interesting. Could anyone give me some numbers (in €) about an internship at MBB (no MBA) in a European country (preferably from a Western European one)? I heard some echoes about figures completely different (much lower) than their american counterpart... Thanks
