I love this show, they screwed up on that one episode, but other than that its been golden for me

Hah no matter how much people try, Harvard will always disregard Wharton. End of story.

When your average Joe thinks of law school, they think of Harvard, not Yale (even if it is technically ranked higher every year). They're appealing to the average Joe. In addition, Yale sends more people into non-profit, government, etc vs HLS sends more to corporate law.

Wharton trumps everyone for finance. Stanford GSB/HBS are more management-focused. Doesn't matter what school it is, it's not a large part of the story line.

A bank is just a financial intermediary between one party's financial assets and another's. Same thing with an investment bank. Then you call it an investment bank because they are underwriting bonds, stocks and private placements that will serve as investments in the primary and secondary markets and/or they are matching up investors with companies that require investors so that they may invest in projects, usually capital projects.

So you've got a financial intermediary (bank) that specializes in underwriting and placing investments.

oh, I didn't know that was the definition of a bank. Makes sense broadly.
