What does bump mean?
Excuse my ignorance. I have been reading WSO for a while, contribute when I can, but have never figured out what it means when people write bump. It usually relates to stupid questions so I'll expect a few people to write bump in response to this, but what is it from and what does it mean? Thanks guys.
Bump basically means you are "bumping" a thread back to the top. You do this so more people will see it and hopefully comment/answer your question.
You are bumping the thread back to the top of the active forum topics located on the right side of the screen.

Dang, that actually stands for something?!? I've used "bump" for years and never even knew that, lol. Another example of WSO making me smarter, everyday.
