Rum, tequila, or scotch. The first two on ice with limes, scotch always neat.

I'll go vodka - but yes generally agree.

I used to get these heavy dirty martinis from 7B. I went in there and there was this chick who would pour me these drinks out of jars or something. I'd watch her pour heavy and would joke that she couldn't pour heavy and she would pour me these 6 shot vodka drinks (Grey Goose) that would get me so fucked up and I would work my hardest just to say the next one was weak too, but her and I had this thing about laughingly getting me really fucked up before I go out.

I want to like gin just because I’ve always thought it was cool and the name is cool. Idk why. But I’ve never liked it.

Any recommendations for brands? Maybe I’ve just had cheap gin and didn’t realize it

Good man - I am on a current cleanse as well.

I was a little troubled when I noticed that I haven’t gone more than 5 days without a drink since freshman year of college.

~10 days in, but feel better. Maybe it’s placebo, but I’ll take it to the bank.

I feel ya. But for me it's more like I just don't like drinking all that much to begin with.

Weirdly, I have my drinking phases when I drink 2~3 drinks a week and non-drinking phases when I don't even think about drinking. I guess it's genetics?

I'm just predisposed to not be a drinker.

I was a little rough when I was first diagnosed, but free healthcare while I'm doing my MBA in the EU means transfusions every month. I had a weird condition called Sweet's Syndrome that made me look like a monster for a week and I had scars on my face for like a 3 months so I've tried to stay away from anything that could make it worse for precautions sake.

Gin martini Tequila - on the rocks with lime or margs Seltzers are great for the pool or beach I'll mix in an IPA or some summer beers here and there

When out on the back porch in the summer, I'll go with a Tito's, diet cran, splash of OJ. Basically a Sex on the Beach without the schnapps. So fucking refreshing and diet cran has 5 calories for 8 oz. If I am going bourbon I will do Eagle Rare on the rocks. $33 bucks a bottle in Mass for a 10 year old bourbon is an absolute steal, especially for the taste.

Caribou Lou: it's like

  • 151 Rum
  • pineapple juice and
  • Malibu

Caribou get them all numb

Make baby girl come, out of her shell and raise hell

Don't stop 'til the cops come

Half a bottle of 151 off in a jug

One cup of Malibu Rum, baby that's whassup then you

Fill the rest of the jug with pineapple juice and it's crackin'

The only defect is waking up like what happened

I like this song a lot. Even though he was talking about Kansas City Missouri, I hit up Hollywood Casino and he came talking about Kansas City and hit felt like it was hitting hard and always think of that trip that day.

In fact, I posted this song to facebook that day and it seems pretty low quality in dirty lyrics, but artistically, I really think its a good song.

Yeah I’m onto LaCroix Lime, Grapefruit, or Orange.

went to a buddy's ranchhouse a few times this summer - she'd always make a jug-load of pimms, ginger ale, and fresh cuts of cucumber and blood oranges. i remember being hammered off 3 glasses right in her kitchen 10 minutes into her putting lid on

Long Island iced tea gets you surprisingly and quickly fucked up, it’s a silent killer and my go-to. When I’m out on the beach or a boat, nothing beats an ice cold Rona with lime.

Sazerac's are one of my favorite mixed drinks. Gin and tonic is great as well, super refreshing. Both are easy for me to make and I can make them well. I have also been a big fan of dropping half of an overripe peach into a glass of red wine after dinner some days. My family has been doing as a "dessert" that since before they came over from Italy.
