everythingsucksYeah I thought it would be boring, considering it's about a guy trapped in a ditch for 90 minutes. I was definitely wrong. It was extremely engaging.
I thought the same thing, guy trapped in one location for the movie, forget about it. I didn't know it was by Danny Boyle, making me second guess writing this one off.
It's by the same guy that directed Slumdog Millionaire, a personal favorite of mine, Danny Boyle. Guy has struck gold twice. Add in James Franco, this is a recipe for success
Shit is crazy. I heard of the story a few years back when it happened.
The premise of a single location reminds me of Phone Booth and potentially the movie Buried which will be out sometime in 2011...though I don't know if Buried will be just a single location, but looks as if that will be the case. At any rate, I thought Phone Booth was a pretty decent movie, especially considering they guy spent nearly the entire movie inside a phone booth.

Really gripping movie, I loved it. As an aside, Danny Boyle directed Trainspotting and 28 Days Later, so this is at least the 4th time he strikes gold.

Yeah. I had the opportunity to hear Aron speak in person and it was one of the more powerful experiences I can recall as a kid. I don't know if I want to go see the film because of how graphic the ending is.
I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Looks great. Really want to see it.
Really? I wrote it off as soon as I saw the commercials... I have been known to be wrong in these situations though.

Good movie... disturbing and difficult to watch... but very solid film

Don't forget slumdog.
Trailer looks good
They said slumdog already. And, yea, Boyle is definitely one of the better directors around imho
Great movie. Loved it
lol when i saw this post i thought for sure it was going to be about someone that worked a 127 hour week. Im disappointed!
I thought the exact same thing haha sad

Ya. i said it
Well I worked 127 hours last month. Does that count?

Question - just how uncomfortable is it to watch? Sounds like a pretty strong psychological barrier to it..
It's not that bad at least in my book. Cringe-inducing, agonizing at points, but only for a short while.
I wouldn't say it's too bad either. The climax is pretty brutal, but definitely tolerable.
