BlackRock Solutions Analyst Offer...accept?
I'm a college senior and was recently offered an analyst position with BlackRock Solutions Center. Does anyone have advice as to whether this position would help my career in the long run if I'd like to do actual investment management, or perhaps even switching to the sell-side for a different firm? How are the hours? The pay seems pretty decent, but would it be on par with other financial services firm in Manhattan? Is it possible to pursue a Master's degree at the same time? In sum, should I accept the offer?
Thanks
Do you have any other offers? If not, what choice is there to make?
If it's Solutions center vs Credit suisse IT (post trade)? What do you think?
what team?
dude dont do it.. I would say no even if it were PAG ... but solution center is 10 times worse..it's a glorified call center.
What do you mean by worse? Do you have contacts in that group? They are selling new analyst-to-bes with the opportunity to move on to other parts of the company after 2-3 years of 'training' development period. Is it true tho?
Thanks
what are your alternatives?
Is it possible to negotiate the signing bonus??
I think its std.
