I want to kill myself

I am very seriously considering commiting suicide. Shit feels too bad - I can't event trust people next to me who are basically ignoring what I've been saying for a while - see no point in continuing when even people close to you are backstabbing you.

Any point in continuing.

Don't do it bro - take some time off and think of the good things that can come with hard work.

Maybe remove yourself from people that are backstabbing you if possible.

assuming this is a serious cry for help and not some weird joke.

Get help. There is no shame in finding yourself in situations where you cant continue on your own. If shit feels that serious: go to the next hospital. You will not believe how understanding people are when it comes to mental problems.

Also consider the fact that being depressed leads to you not seeing life as it truly is. Thinking about taking action when you are seriously depressed is like marrying a girl who you consider hot but only because you are truly drunk.

Understand that your brain is playing games on you.

Find third party persons to speak to (helpline, hospital, doctors)

I'm with you, trazer, that's why I had to open the thread.

DGW - You can always die later. Not trying to be insensitive, but I've seen enough suicides and known the days that old friends pissed away in their short-term thinking. There are better days ahead. Get help.

I'm glad you posted this. OP, I lived with a guy that didn't get accepted to med school and tried to kill himself....we found him in the bathtub. Had we not, he'd be dead. He got help and is now a doctor with a wife and kids. There is hope, but you have to act RIGHT NOW and call Samaritan at 212-673-3000. I just talked to someone there and they're waiting to hear from you. You're not the only one

UFO, I consider you a friend and this is pretty awesome.

OP, call this fucking number. Bro, kiling yourself does nothing besides causing your loved ones misery. Don't be that selfish.

Come bruh, what is going on so bad that you want to take your life.Life is about ups and down, and sometimes going through them seem like it is all bad but life has thought me that there is always a brighter tomorrow. Talk to someone, don't be afraid to get help if you truly have those feelings.Take it one day at the time and you will be ok.

The dragon dozes off in the spirit which is its dwelling.

don't do that. find someone to talk to, it helps know that as terrible as the world is - there is some good in people. and if this is really serious, get help. talk a friend, family member, anything. talk to someone on here if you need to

Don't do it....life is hard and shitty for everyone. Think about all the people who have a much worse life. You hit rock bottom, well theres no where to go but up. You just need motivation.

It's hard to know if things like this are serious on this site or not, but dude - DON'T DO IT.

I dated an awesome girl for a long time, but she ran into some real emotional issues. We ended up breaking up and she wanted to kill herself. It was kind of an ongoing issue that finally got so bad her dad just took her to a local hospital, I don't know what happened but she disappeared for a week. After that she came back and started working on herself.

Everyone else looked at her and saw a stunning, funny and smart girl. She was all of these things, but she didn't see it herself.

I spent some time with her on and off after that and to be honest, she still struggled at times.

Fast forward 6 years. We still keep in touch every so often (Facebook). She is married, has a beautiful 1 year old daughter and is extremely happy. She is still stunning, funny and smart but now she realizes that as well.

Suicide is the most final thing in this world and it's always the wrong choice. I'm sure you're under a lot of pressure, but take a breather. You can live a happy and fulfilling life as a freaking janitor - if the pressure of your goals is too much, adjust your goals.

Read James Altucher's blog - the dude is a semi-lunatic, but his whole goal now is to be happy. He's achieved a lot and failed miserably and he now realizes that the only thing that's important is happiness.

Get away from whatever it is that's hurting you and talk to someone.

Bro everyone has shit thrown at them. That is part of life. Go on a vacation or something. Take a break from whatever you are doing and clear your head.

No need to end your life. Your team is shit, get a new one.

I've been in that mode too. Saw a doctor who said I need a new job, got a new job, now all is cool.

Oh no...your life must be so hard...

If only those third world kids (you know the ones infected with AIDS and have nothing to eat or whatever else it is they do for fun over there) knew how tough it is when that bitch Becky talks behind your back (but acts like you're totally besties to your face) or the pain you feel when you don't land that banking gig. Your situation must be serious indeed if there is a WSO post about it.
