Is this Brady4MVP?

I was surfing the grad forums just to check out a few things and came across this post.

Seems like he's switched his hard on from HBS to HKS.

Going ConcernHaha, he's everywhere! It's ironic that he's not applying to HBS, given its ability to provide a transformational experience (ie going from fat, bald, and almost autistic to a successful pickup artist a la Neil Strauss) and make graduates ooze mad swagger. So he really was trolling? LOL!

I think he is applying. It said in the post that he's applying to the business schools too so assuming he's going for the dual degree option.

I beg to differ, good sir. I read it as he's not applying to HBS because he's going for business and policy degrees separately and didn't list HBS on his list of MBA programs. He's applying to Johns Hopkins and they don't even have a well known MBA program. And definitely not one where people ooze mad swagger.

SAIS have a terrific program and a linke with Wharton so perhaps thats what Brady's plans are. And I read it the same as OP, he said he's applying to policy programs and business combined, so HKS only has HBS.

Maybe you bros are right, but Brady did say on WSO about a year ago that he would not be applying to HBS, when he was doing some kind of wager with the energy rodeo guy.

Brady4MVPNeither Monty nor I applied to HBS, nor are we ever going to. Monty is at a point in his career where going to b-school doesn't quite make sense. As for me, I don't have the right profile for HBS so will not be applying there.

You guys give Brady far too much shit. He is a very nice guy, smart and works in finance (which is more than many people on this site to be honest). He also went to an Ivy undergrad.

So yeah, his obsession with HBS is a little too much, but the level of shit he gets is also too much. Dude was banned, lets leave it at that.

Agreed. He has some issues to work out however and some of his views (that I previously mistakenly backed him for) are a little radical for my taste but the brief sort of exchanges I've had with him, he seems fine. I don't agree with him being banned. He definitely added something.

  1. HKS has formal joint degree programs with HBS, MIT, Tuck, and Wharton.
  2. SAIS has formal joint degree programs with Wharton, HBS, and Tuck.
  3. Princeton WWS offers ad hoc joint degrees with almost all the top business and law schools: HSW, Yale Law, Harvard Law, Columbia Law, NYU Law.
