I just got a call from them to schedule an interview, and I know a few of you had phone interviews with them, so I'm wondering what kind of questions they'll ask.

how did you get an interview w/them? when did you apply?

  • Roller4Life's picture

Yes, I had an interview a few weeks ago for the Honors Program as well. All fit questions being that you are only a sophomore. Know why S&T, M&A, or Research. Know why JPM and be able to walk-through your resume. That was all that I had. One brainteaser about the number of ping-pong balls that can fit into a 747.

I had my interview a few weeks ago and I haven't heard anything. It appears that they are still interviewing applicants though so I might not be out of it just yet.

I'm actually a freshman, but thanks a lot Roller4Life. I really appreciate that.

In reference to AgreeWitMe's post, I applied sometime in the middle of January. I both sent my resume online and by mail.

I'm going to do some studying now.

Thanks for the response dude. I had my phone interview on Tuesday, so I guess there some time left.

Good luck and fun in NY!

University of Miami and had a Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management Interview as a sophomore.

Let that be an indication that non-targets can get through.

u get the offer from gs?

  • Roller4Life's picture

it was a first-round phone interview with Goldman Private Wealth Management. I don't know yet, I will know by early next week.

I'm praying and staying positive. I think I did make it to the next round though

I just stressed on my interview that I'm a big fan of the financial markets and follow them routinely.
He told me the face to face interviews will be next Friday and I told him I would be available so I think it was a good sign.

First off congrats eheh!! That's quite an accomplishment.

So if you didn't get a second round opportunity with the Honors program yet, is your chances for an offer pretty much slim to none?

  • Roller4Life's picture

Eheh, I thought you got the offer for the Honors program at JP Morgan?

  • collegeguy87's picture

JP Morgan Honors had two second round super days. One this friday and one last friday.

  • Roller4Life's picture

nice job. I'm waiting on PWM at Goldman after my first round interview yesterday.

Eheh, do you think it is a good sign if the interviewer tells you when the next-round will be.

Although I'm on spring break, if I have to go in, I most definitely will for a chance at Goldman.
