Have you search people via LinkedIn and try to reach out to Associates at the firm?

Thanks for the response. I did manage to talk to an associate at the firm whose name I got on Linkedin. He told me to talk to HR in NYC. Though the talk with HR didn't lead to anything except fill out an app and wait type of thing.

There is one alumni from my school that's a partner at the NYC office, would it be better to go through him even though I'm aiming for the dc office?

As him to refer you to someone else on the (different) teams.

Absolutely, go via Alumni and see whether he can set anything up for you in the DC Office.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
