Trying to break into finance/investment (alternative investment).. Does this resume hold up?

http://www.razume.com/documents/16721

I just graduated and I'm lacking internship experience, except a four month one that is ending that prepared me fairly well for what's ahead (my boss came from upper tier schools and a very well respected consulting firm).

I need you to be brutally honest about this resume, because I need it to be impeccable if I'm going to get an internship or job in this industry.

My dream is to get into alternative investment, although that may be a long shot.

Let me know what you think, I appreciate the help.

I am so so with the format. Get the M&I format or go on the Boston College MSF site and get their template. I think your resume is OK, but nothing special. Not being mean, but you don't have any capital market internships so that will put you are a huge disadvantage. If you can start interning for free or do a masters and intern you would be in a better position.

To be honest....your past experience will not likely get you into the door for a top finance job. The market out there is still very tough, and you will be competing with top teir sudents and many of whom graduated with at least 2 internships in capital markets/finance area. Your best shot will be network really hard to get the connection.

I agree, I got that internship simply to get some experience with excel, market research, some modeling, etc. It was a good introduction.

I know I'm behind in the game and I'm willing to wait until I have the right experience to go for a full time position at a decent firm.

My next goal is just to get my foot in the door to the world of investment and secure a meaningful internship. I'm also trying to network to the best of my ability just in case I can grab a full time position somewhere.

I should have elaborated on where I was more, but there you have it!

Thanks for the critique!
